O sacred love of the beloved Country

O sacred love of the beloved Country,
Only good and true minds can experience you!
For thee, virulent poisons are savory;
For thee, chains and fetters are not an abuse.
Thou embellish cripples with scars of glory;
In the mind, thou dost nestle pleasures most true.
Might one, to thy succor, endeavor to fly,
'Twere nothing to live poor, 'twere nothing to die.

Above lines are from "Święta miłości kochanej ojczyzny" a patriotic poem by Ignacy Krasicki. Ignacy Krasicki was a author and a poet who was passion-ed by enlightening thoughts for his country Poland.

As we see every movement lead by people in patriotism has few songs / poems / writings which en-lights the minds of others who cannot spread the thought in their own words. It gives a boost to their movement and on the same hand shows the love of the writer towards their movement. It also shows the writers are not just the fighters for the movement but they have good state of mind to think, advice, motivate and lead.

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Ravindranath Tagore, Bal Ganangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Lokhitwadi, Gopal Ganesh Agarkar and many more Indian historians who were not just fighters for their movements but also good writers / good think tanks for the society. That's the only reason people followed them with faith.

If not then why "Vande Matarm" seems familiar  to the above lines "O sacred love of the beloved Country"? Here Ignacy Krasicki also mentiones his country as sacred love i.e. connected with god.
I liked the most of the poem but first two lines are best. Yes, only good and true minds can experience god in country. They can only feel the feelings of all the peoples in country; not only rich but the poor also.

That's why the above lines inspired many in Poland and it became one the Polands National Anthems. The poem was published in 1774.
